Job Description

Speech Language Pathologist provide and direct speech therapy services to patients with the goal of helping our patients reach their maximum performance potential within a medical model.

Qualified applicants must possess a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology,  hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) credential offered by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, must maintain valid State license in Speech Pathology or be eligible for licensure through completion of Clinical Fellowship Year and assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development.

Specific Details
Westerly Health Center, a 106-bed skilled nursing care facility located in Westerly, RI has an exciting opportunity for a candidate with the following qualifications. Candidate must be dedicated, a self-starter, and highly motivated.

The primary purpose of the position is providing and directing speech therapy services to patients which will include adult and/or geriatric persons. The goal of helping them reach their maximum performance potential within a medical model of practice shall occur.

 Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
 Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) credential offered by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
 Must hold a current license in the state of Rhode Island
 Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development
