Position Status RN: We are looking for full-time RNs for 7am-3pm.
Our Nurse Qualification Requirements:
A nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island
The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
The ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
The ability to deal tactfully and professionally with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government personnel and the general public.
Patience, tact, a pleasant disposition and enthusiasm, as well as a willingness to manage difficult situations.
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long term care.
Leadership and supervisory ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise others.
The ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc. that are necessary for providing quality care.
Willingness to seek out new methods and principals and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices.
The ability to relate information concerning the resident’s condition.
Previous hospital or nursing home experience but will train the right candidate
