Job Description
Eastgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a small 5 STAR (January 22, 2021) 68 bed facility with two floors. We offer short and long-term care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education level: high school diploma or equivalent
Must have Nursing Aide Certification for the state of Rhode Island
All employees must possess the ability to communicate effectively, including written and verbal skills; work well, both individually and as part of a team, through respect, collaboration and dedication; and successfully interact with a diverse culture base.
The successful candidate must be able to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently, and demonstrate a positive attitude, high integrity and ethical awareness.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide medical and physical care to the residents to meet their daily needs and enable them to function at the highest possible level
Promote the residents' psycho-social well-being through meaningful relationship building
Provide support, friendship and kindness for each of the residents as well as team members
Transport and participate in social activities for residents which provide meaningful ways to spend time as recreation, exercise, relationship building and fun
Attend to dietary and nutritional needs by establishing a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience
maintain a clean, safe environment
All caregiver tasks are performed in accordance with current standards, guidelines and regulations and in a safe and efficient manner
